AnbAriv won the National Film Award for Best Stunt Choreographer in 2019 for their work in the 2018 box office hit Kannada film K.G.F: Chapter 1. With them, onboard, Vikram is sure short to have some mind-blowing action sequences. The film is an action thriller written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Raaj Kamal Films International. The film is touted to have an unconventional storyline featuring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil in the lead

The film went on the floor in April this year before the second wave had hit the nation; however, the shooting was halted due to the lockdown imposed.  The makers now are likely to start shooting once the coronavirus situation improves. Last year in November the makers also teased the fans with a two-minute-long teaser from the film. The anticipation for Vikram is much higher since the release of the teaser, as it is expected to be a high-octane action film. Kamal Haasan will be seen in a completely different avatar in the film. Meanwhile, the actor turned politician also awaits the release of Indian 2 directed by Shankar.
